Privacy & data handling
Updated .
Heliovue is operated by 4Tech LLC. This page explains the beta signup and summarizes the product’s existing Privacy Policy.
When you request a first-flight review
We collect the name, email, company, fleet size, inspection volume, site types, and drone models you enter. The form does not upload imagery. We store the request in Firebase and use it to contact you about dataset suitability and beta access. A request also notifies the team by email.
When you upload a dataset
The product stores your uploaded imagery and flight metadata, including embedded locations, timestamps, and camera details, along with site information and processing outputs: maps, candidate catalogs, and reports. Google Cloud and Firebase provide storage and processing, primarily in United States regions. Other members of your organization may have access according to their roles.
You retain ownership of your imagery and processing outputs. Upload only data you have permission to share. The existing Privacy Policy states that we do not sell your personal information.
Retention and requests
The existing policy retains account and content data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and thereafter for legal obligations, disputes, and agreements. There is no fixed automatic deletion deadline promised for beta uploads. For access, correction, export, or deletion requests, email contact@4tech.us.
Site analytics and preferences
This site uses Google Analytics / Google Ads and HeyCatch to understand visits and signup activity. Campaign parameters from the landing URL are kept in session storage and included with a beta request. Language preferences use cookies. Firebase App Check uses reCAPTCHA to help protect the form from abuse. Playing the demo loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player; the separate demo link opens YouTube.
Read the full product Privacy Policy for sharing, international transfers, rights, and policy updates, or contact the team before sharing client data.
